My masters research identified habitat selection of a long distance Neotropical migratory bird of conservation concern, the Canada warbler in Central New Hampshire. I also studied factors that influenced site fidelity, and reproductive success in two distinct habitat types, a naturally occurring Red Maple swamp and a forest which was intensively logged 20 years prior to conducting field work. This work helped determine habitat variables that are important to site fidelity, mate attraction and reproductive success of Canada warblers in New Hampshire.
